    What kind of Gamer are you??

    Old-School
    OR
    New-School?

    Do you prefer Cartridge games?
    OR Disc games??

    Me: Old School--raised in the late 80's-through-90's, had all the great consoles running in my life--PLUS I grew up playing ALOT of Arcade games in the 90's...

    I love the Wii, for its Virtual Console feature--but I don't really like the LACK of a better selection of BETTER Old games...

    I'm glad I still own my NES, SNES and N64 though...

    I play both. I love old games and at the same time I like the new games coming out.

    I could honestly live w/out NEW games--so long as I had 5 or 6 of my alltime old-school faves...

    Well.... I think i'm a "new school" gamer, cuz I my gameboy doesn't work anymore, and I don't have very many virtual console games..... But then again, all my favorite games are for gamecube.... So maybe I'm in the middle....but more new-ish....

    As a Game Reviewer, Critic, and Beginning Developer, I pull inspiration and experiences from both past and present.

    I play both houses, and I enjoy it.

    @Crawfish33
    I don't count GC as "retro", or "old-school"---you can still play em' on Wii...in their original form.

    But I'm w/ you Azriel...without the old, we wouldn't have the new

    Old School!--still haven't changed My opinion in 3 months...

    but games like SMBWii, and Tetris Party DO give me hope for New School....

    Both games, especially SMBWii--play VERY much like their classic versions
