Did you ever own, or play a Virtual Boy?

What IS a Virtual Boy--Click Here

I used to own one--infact I got one for my Birthday back in like 1997, after they'd be discontinued, and Nintendo was lowering the MSRP to sell the remaining stock...
    I think mine was like $29.99 @ KayBee Toys...:laugh2:

I had "Mario Tennis"--which came bundled w/ it...
and I later got a copy of "Panic Bomber" a Bomberman game, which was REALLY fun.

Here's my copy of Mario Tennis:

I actually really want a Virtual Boy. Not because I'm expecting it to be GOOD or anything, but I've always thought it would be an interesting little bit of tech to try out. The games that appeal to me the most are Panic Bomber, Wario Land, Mario Clash, and Teleroboxer. Too bad the system is so rare. Heck, it wasn't even released in New Zealand.

It was so bad they only had like 13 games for it, 1 that was Japan only.

Depends on your definition of handheld. it runs on batteries, and can be played anywhere, but is very clunky, and is easiest to use at home where you can set it up properly.

    I vaguely remember this.
I do remember some commercials for it, it was showing it with Mortal Kombat 3 I think.

I actually saw someone do a Let's Play of a Wario game that was on the Virtual Boy. It wasn't someone I really watched so I don't even remember who did it but it's pretty funny how the Virtual Boy looks and how the 3D was implemented... I can only imagine how clunky it would be to wear that thing on your head and try to play it though.

U didn't wear it on your head....it came with a stand, and u had to basically hunch-over to be able to look into the goggles...
